Connecting with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Introduction

Invoice processing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central becomes faster with Zenvoices. Zenvoices supports automatic invoice recognition in various file formats, automation of invoice bookings, application of authorisation workflows, payment processing and invoice archiving.

To use Zenvoices with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you need the Zenvoices Connector from Microsoft Source.

Installing the Zenvoices Connector

Follow the steps below to install the Zenvoices Connector.

  1. Log in to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.

  2. Verify that you have the correct permissions to add extensions.

  3. Go to Extension Management and open the page ‘Microsoft AppSource Apps’.

  4. Choose View in AppSource.

  5. Search for ‘Zenvoices Connector’, select the connector and click ‘Get it now’.

  6. You will then see the details on screen. Review these and confirm the installation by clicking Get it now.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Configuring the accounting software integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

  1. In Zenvoices, go to Manage / Environment / Accounting software integrations.

    Click the button ‘New accounting software integration’ in the top right corner and choose ‘Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central’.

  2. Select the Business Central environment name you want to connect.
    Please note: this must exactly match the environment name in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

  3. Log in with an authorised Microsoft account. Preferably use the same user who installed the Zenvoices Connector.

  4. Add ‘Companies’ (administrations).
