The optimal settings may vary per scanner, but in general we recommend the following:
300 DPI in grayscale
Disable text recognition (OCR) and/or the generation of a searchable PDF
As a rule of thumb: if a scanned document is clearly readable to you, it is usually also readable for our scan & recognise software and suitable for accurate invoice processing.
