The Automatically Split Documents module automatically detects whether documents contain multiple invoices/receipts and generates split proposals for the Split and Arrange function. This eliminates the need to manually split documents and saves time when processing bulk scans.
Functions and possibilities
The Automatically Split Documents module offers the following functions and possibilities:
Automatic detection of whether a document needs to be split.
This is shown in Upload & process and is also available as an automation condition. For example, this allows you to automatically process all documents except those that require splitting.Automatically splitting documents in the Split and Arrange screen.
Recognition scores indicate how confident Zenvoices is about the split proposal.
Via the minimap, you can quickly navigate to documents where Zenvoices is less certain.
Automatic splitting is self-learning (based on the recognised invoice number per page) and improves as more documents are processed within an administration.

Enable module
Automatically Split Documents is an additional module that can be activated per administration.
Go to: Manage / Environment / Administrations / Edit and open the ‘Additional modules’ tab to enable the module for an administration. Once activated, new incoming documents in the administration will automatically be analysed to determine whether splitting is required, and split proposals will be generated.
Points of attention
After splitting, automation rules are applied when the option ‘Execute automation rules after splitting’ is enabled.
Automatic split proposals are available for documents with a maximum of 100 pages.
If the module is enabled, processed invoices will be charged when PDF documents are received in an administration.
One processed invoice is charged per five pages, with a maximum of 20 processed invoices per document.If the module is enabled, it may take longer for submitted documents to appear in Upload & process.
In the background, Zenvoices determines whether splitting is required upon submission. The processing time depends on the number of pages in the document.
Under Upload & process / Inbox, you can see how many documents are still being processed.
