Selecting an AFAS reviewer in Zenvoices

Read here which settings are required to be able to select a reviewer in Zenvoices.

If you use reviewers in AFAS, it may be useful to be able to select these users in Zenvoices.

How does it work?

In the posting screen and in the account master data, the field “AFAS reviewer” is available. The account field is synchronized with AFAS. If the GetConnectors are not updated, this field will be empty and the existing value of this field in AFAS will not be overwritten when creating or editing an account.

All AFAS users can be selected in the “AFAS reviewer” field. Unfortunately, it is technically not possible to retrieve only reviewers from AFAS. When a user is selected who is not a reviewer, an error message will appear during export and the posting cannot be exported until a reviewer is selected.

If a reviewer is selected, the posting will be blocked for payment in AFAS, regardless of the authorization settings in Zenvoices. We recommend not using Zenvoices Authorization Management and the “AFAS reviewer” at the same time.

Please note:

  • To make the “AFAS reviewer field visible, you must add it once to the posting screen. See this article for more information.

  • To establish a correct connection with AFAS, the integration user must have access to the employee table. This can be configured via the Authorization Tool in AFAS. Follow the steps below:

    1. Go to the Authorization Tool in AFAS.

    2. Navigate to:
      HRM / Employee / Employee (MSS) / Filters / HRM employees.

    3. Ensure that the integration user has full access here so that all employees are visible.

By configuring this authorization correctly, you prevent limitations in the data exchange between Zenvoices and AFAS.

  • Make sure you have installed the latest version of the Zenvoices GetConnectors in AFAS.

  • This functionality is only available for purchase postings.
