Preparation
To create project bookings in AFAS you must enable this in the booking screen in Zenvoices. Per user it can be determined which fields are visible in the booking rules. In the booking screen you can enable the desired header fields and rule fields via 'Settings' (gear icon in the top right).
In the article Booking on projects we explain which other accounting packages support project bookings. Also make sure that you have imported the latest version of the Zenvoices GetConnectors in AFAS.
Please note: project bookings are not supported by AFAS Small Business.
Creating a project booking
In the booking screen you will find the fields 'Project', 'Project item' and 'Project phase'. Fill in these fields to create a project booking.
It is only possible to fill in these fields if project bookings are allowed for the selected general ledger account. This is inherited from AFAS.
Recharge
With the field 'Recharge' you can indicate for purchase bookings whether costs should be recharged in AFAS. This field has the value false (unchecked) by default.
Dossier in AFAS
If the administration setting 'Link dossier items to projects' is enabled and one project is present in a booking, this project will be linked to the dossier item created in AFAS for the booking. For this it is required that the extra destination 'Project' is allowed for the configured dossier item type. Consult the article Sending booking documents to AFAS for more information about this.
