With delegated access, you can authorize another user to log in on your behalf. This is useful, for example, if you are temporarily absent and other users need to take over your tasks.
Click on 'Delegate access' in the user menu to set permissions:
If this option is not visible, ask the administrator of your environment to enable delegate access.
After clicking on 'Delegate access', the following screen appears where permissions can be managed:
Meaning of the fields:
Users: the users who are allowed to log in on your behalf. It is possible to select multiple users. Only users who are allowed to log in as a delegate can be selected. This can be configured by the administrator of the environment.
From and until date: the period during which the users are allowed to log in on your behalf. Both fields are optional.
Forward notifications: enable this option to forward all email notifications (for example the daily authorization overview and mention notifications in comments) as CC to the delegated users.
Frequently asked questions
Can I log in while a delegate is logged in as my user?
Yes, you can work in Zenvoices as usual while a delegate is logged in as your user.
Can I remove a delegate?
Yes, via 'Delegated access' in the user menu you can remove delegates. This does not affect delegates who are currently logged in as your user.
How can I make myself a delegate of someone?
It is not possible to assign yourself as a delegate for a user unless you are an administrator of the environment.
Why is 'Delegated access' not visible for me?
In that case it has not yet been enabled for your user. Ask the administrator of the environment to do this.
Can a delegated user change my delegated access?
No, if a delegated user is logged in as your user they cannot change your delegated access unless they are an administrator of the environment.
Is it visible which actions a delegate has performed on my behalf?
Yes, this is visible in the comments and in the authorization overview of bookings.
Where can authorized bookings be viewed that were authorized by the delegate
Bookings can be viewed in the archive of the person who is responsible for reviewing the invoices according to the scheme. Bookings are therefore not shown in the archive of the person who was temporarily acting as the delegate.
