Points of attention when integrating with Twinfield

Read here about the key considerations and supported functionalities for the integration with Twinfield.

When integrating with Twinfield, please take the following into account:

  • The integration is established using a user account from Twinfield. We recommend creating a dedicated integration user, with access granted to at least two employees.

  • The user used for the connection must have at least level 4 rights within Twinfield. From level 5 onwards this is not supported. Preferably do not use a level 1 user (site supervisor) for security reasons.

  • Transactions are created as draft entries in Twinfield by default.
This can be configured per administration via the ‘Twinfield’ tab in the administration settings (Manage / Organisation / Companies).

  • To view invoices/receipts from within Twinfield, a journal setting must be configured. Please refer to the relevant instructions for setup.

  • To automatically generate numbers for new suppliers/customers created from Zenvoices, a valid auto-numbering format must be configured in Twinfield.
If this is not configured, an error message will appear when creating the relation. Please refer to the relevant instructions for setup.

  • The taxonomy configured in Twinfield under: Settings / Company settings / Company settings / Financial information / Default report structure
is used to retrieve RGS classifications for general ledger accounts.

For more information, please consult the frequently asked questions per accounting package.
