Automatically create general ledger accounts for cost centers/cost units in KING ERP

It is possible to configure Zenvoices to automatically create general ledger accounts in KING ERP for cost centers and cost units. This option can be enabled per administration and is disabled by default.

How does it work?

If this option is enabled, during the export of a booking it is checked whether all general ledger account, cost center and cost unit combinations exist as general ledger accounts in KING ERP. If this is not the case, a general ledger account will automatically be created in KING ERP.

Requirements

To use this function, the following requirements apply:

  • Zenvoices King Webservice version 1.10 (20-11-2020) or newer must be installed.

  • Zenvoices King Webservice must be configured for creating general ledger accounts using King Jobs. This is not a standard part of the integration installation.

  • In administrations where this functionality is used, the administration setting 'Use separate fields for cost center and cost unit' is enabled. From 21-11-2020 this setting is enabled by default in new administrations.

    Please note: this setting can only be enabled once and cannot be disabled afterwards. Enabling this setting ensures that separate fields are used for cost center and cost unit.

    Cost center/cost unit general ledger accounts can then no longer be selected as general ledger accounts. This may affect existing settings in your administration.
