Administration settings for email delivery via @to-zenvoices email address

Consult the administration settings via Manage / Environment / Administrations and click 'Edit' for the relevant administration. Via the 'Preferences' tab a preferred destination can be set under 'Email delivery'. If it is desired that all incoming emails are automatically linked to the destination 'Document management', a default category can be entered here.

A unique @to-zenvoices.com email address can be used per document management category

In this article you can read more about this.

Assign document management category by including category code in email

When you work with multiple document management categories, you can include a category code in the email subject. In this case the specified category will be assigned to the document. The category code must be placed between square brackets. Some examples:

  • Documenten [2022]

  • Documenten [Brieven/Belastingdienst]

Please note: the values you add between square brackets are the name of the document management category. This assignment is not space-sensitive between the slashes.

Assign document management categories with Destination assignment rules

At the step 'Upload & read' there is the possibility to assign a document to the correct destination and document management category based on certain criteria. Go to Manage / Administration / Automation and then go to 'Destination assignment rules' and create rules there to assign a destination.

Points of attention

  • Destination assignment rules always take precedence over other possibilities to determine destinations when submitting documents.

  • See this article for more information regarding the prioritization of destination determination for submissions via email.
