Web portal

Set default language

Via Manage / Environment / Settings you can set the default language of the web portal for your environment in the tab 'General'. This setting is automatically applied to users, unless a user has a different language setting.

Set language per user

Users can change their language via 'My settings' in the user menu.

An administrator can change the language of a user via Manage / Environment / Users / Edit.

Mobile app

The language set on the device is used in the mobile app. If the configured language is not supported, the mobile app will be displayed in English.

Booking variables

Suggestions for booking variables are displayed in the language of the user, however all language variants are supported.

Example: both {relatienaam} and {accountname} can be used in a booking field. For an English-speaking user only {accountname} will be shown in the suggestion list.

The values of language/region-specific booking variables are displayed and exported to the accounting package in the default language configured for the environment.

Example: a user has the language setting Dutch and the environment has the language setting English. Variable {factuurdatumkwartaal} will be displayed and exported to the accounting package as "quarter 2", because English is the language setting for the environment.
